Respite care is an essential service that provides temporary relief for families and caregivers who support individuals with developmental disabilities. At Kompton House, LLC, our respite care services ensure that individuals continue to receive the same level of care and support they are accustomed to while their primary caregiver takes a well-deserved break to rest, recharge, or attend to other responsibilities.

Respite care is available to individuals who qualify for services through Arizona’s Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). This service supports:  

- Individuals with developmental disabilities, providing continuity of care and safety in a comfortable, supervised environment.  
- Caregivers who require temporary relief from their responsibilities.

We offer flexible respite care options tailored to your needs, including:  

- In-Home Respite Care: Provided in the individual’s home, ensuring familiarity and comfort.  
- Out-of-Home Respite Care: Offered in a community or residential setting for a change of environment.

Respite care provides numerous advantages for both the caregiver and the individual, including:

Respite services must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Requests should be made via voice contact with Rosemarie Visitor at 310.461.5693 for emergency respite. Kompton House, LLC, provides respite coverage for up to 12 hours per 24-hour period for each individual request.
